At the forefront in the introduction of the first magnetic tickets for access control, we have accompanied and led the migration to contactless technology, swifter and safer, on many train, bus, tram and metro projects.

Motorways

The construction of safe, quality and environmentally friendly roads involves a high cost that is often covered by the installation of tolls that collect payment from the users who journey on them. Magnetic tickets are an optimal solution for closed tolls: when accessing any of its entrances, a ticket is issued that records said entry, and is delivered and validated at the exit where the amount is paid according to the length travelled.

The most common format being the roll or the fan fold, the magnetic banknotes can be manufactured in different cards and with different types of magnetic strip, depending on the equipment installed on the toll, guaranteeing compatibility with them.

Car parks

Traffic congestion in large cities is also evidenced by a lack of public parking space, a fact that causes a constant growth of the private parking market. Likewise, as the mobility of citizens increases, the need for parking space in airports, train stations, shopping centres and retail parks, hospitals, etc…

At Calmell Group, we manufacture all types of banknotes, magnetic or not, on standard paper support, thermal or laminated composites, in different thicknesses and finishes. We also bet on hybrid or contactless parking tickets, which can also be used for access to the public transport network, as is the case of tickets used in the P+R in France (“Parc Relais”) : car parking, located on the outskirts of a city and intended to encourage drivers to access the city centre by public transport: metro, tram, suburban train or bus, which allows them to park their vehicle avoiding urban traffic.
