Calmell was one of the six companies in the world that collaborated with the initial development of the Mifare Classic chip

with the company Mikron (period 1993-1995) who designed this chip before being bought by Philips (NXP). At the time of writing, more than 1,000 million units of this product have been manufactured based on contactless technology.
